Her story
Dee is the founder and owner of Morning Star Home Care, an agency built on compassion, trust, and a commitment to helping seniors live safely and comfortably at home. Before launching it, she spent more than a decade as a nurse, caring for older adults and guiding families through every stage of the healthcare journey.
Her years in nursing gave her a deep understanding of the needs of older adults and their families, as well as the emotional, practical, and personal challenges families face when a loved one requires support. She saw firsthand how meaningful it is for older adults to remain in familiar surroundings while receiving respectful, dependable, and individualized care.
Inspired by these experiences, Dee founded Morning Star Home Care in 2017 with a vision: to provide compassionate and personalized home care that promotes safety, independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Today, Dee leads the agency with the same values that shaped her nursing career—compassion, dignity, integrity, and excellence. She works closely with her team to ensure every client receives person-centered care tailored to their unique needs, routines, and preferences. She keeps families informed, supported, and confident in the care their loved one receives.
For Dee, Morning Star Home Care is more than a business. It is a continuation of her life’s work: serving others with kindness, honoring each person’s individuality, and helping families find comfort, peace of mind, and trusted support when they need it most.
