Morning Star was founded by a caregiver who spent more than a decade in hospitals and long-term care, watching older adults get treated like case numbers instead of people. Families were overwhelmed, and seniors were losing the comfort of home. In 2017, Dee opened Morning Star's doors to do it differently.

To make it possible for older adults in Connecticut to age at home — safely, comfortably, and with the dignity they deserve — supported by caregivers who genuinely care.
