Dee is the founder and owner of Morning Star Home Care. Before launching the agency, she spent more than a decade serving as a nurse, caring for older adults and supporting families through every stage of the healthcare journey. Those years gave her a deep understanding of not only the clinical needs of senior's, but also the emotional, practical, and personal challenges families face when a loved one needs care at home.
Inspired by those experiences, Dee founded Morning Star Home Care in 2017 with a simple vision: to provide compassionate, dependable, and personalized home care that helps seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in the place they call home.
Today, Dee leads Morning Star Home Care with the same values that guided her nursing career—compassion, dignity, integrity, and excellence. She works closely with her team to ensure every client receives thoughtful, individualized care, and every family feels informed, supported, and confident in the care their loved one receives.

Yes. We provide both hourly shifts and live-in coverage, including overnight care.
What's the difference between companion care and personal care?
Yes — we accept private pay, most long-term care insurance policies, and Medicaid where applicable.
